The latest volume of the DLR Magazine features an article about the space robotics program of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics. Our co-investigator Daniel Leidner gave an interview about the METERON SUPVIS-JUSTIN experiment.

The DLR Magazine appears as digital version, and as free print version. For now the article is only available in German, but will be translated to English to appear in a few weeks. The article covers the question about the required level of autonomy of future space robot assistants:

Further topics of the article include the successful ROTEX experiment during the D2 Space Shuttle mission, the upcoming KONTUR 2 mission, the next generation robotic hand DEXHAND developed at DLR for space applications, and the DEOS mission.
